It’s all within our sight but ignored far too often as we humans try to credit other humans for creating “awesome” vertical gardens.

I’ve hardened vertically with low tech methods for years. This year I placed my climbing vines on cut tree branches (mimicking nature) & fences, and the beans were easy to pick. Melons too are easier to find. For me it’s about space. I need every inch so up is the best option for growing space. I'm trying to ...Thanks for Posting this Ceclia. I'm trying to work out the vertical garden concept myself. I'm working out the process to incorporate into a wall-relief/wall fountain my husband & I are designing as artists. I too can't see why we have to go high tech. Nature does it fine at all the various vertical spaces nature establishes on. So why do we think it has to be high tech? I understand the need for water systems being added, but I suspect if we provide an ecosystem that invites all of natures inhabitants that are typically a part of a vertical system, we'd find natural nutrients being added via the birds, bugs, leaves, etc.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07997662790089323121noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8285715874832879225.post-35293078277763006722009-11-03T20:22:14.091+11:002009-11-03T20:22:14.091+11:00Thanks for the pics Cecelia.
